UTSW St. Paul Hospital
Project Overview
Lindamood undertook the demolition of the historic St. Paul University Hospital buildings, which were once a cornerstone of the UT Southwestern system. This extensive project involved the demolition and excavation of seven buildings and two expansive parking lots. One of the main buildings was brought down through a controlled implosion, showcasing the company’s expertise in handling complex structural challenges. The site’s most prominent feature, a twelve-story building that was also the oldest structure on the property, stood as a notable landmark before its removal.
To ensure the project’s success, Lindamood navigated stringent schedule constraints and employed innovative, efficient removal methods. These efforts were carefully designed to avoid disruptions to the day-to-day operations of UT Southwestern, underscoring Lindamood’s commitment to minimizing impact while delivering exceptional results.
