Project Meadow

Project Overview

Project Meadow was an earthwork project in the Heart of the Victory Park District in Dallas, TX. The basement excavation was 68 feet deep with a total of 440,000 CY of material hauled offsite totaling 40,000 truck loads. This project required extensive coordination with all stake holders involved due to the fact that it sat between the American Airlines Center where the Mavericks and Dallas Stars play and the Ross Perot Museum of Natural History and bordered on the other two sides by luxury condos and hotels.

Additional challenges of this project were the fact that 135,000 cy of the material was classified as Type 2 Non-Hazardous material and had to be managed per State Regulations. Project Meadow is one of the largest basements ever constructed in the DFW Metroplex and the largest basement excavated by Lindamood Demolition.
