Project Overview

Lindamood performed large-scale earthwork for the AREP Powerhouse Data Center in Las Colinas, executing a high-volume, precision-driven scope across approximately 800,000 square feet. The project required disciplined sequencing to meet the stringent tolerances and performance standards associated with mission-critical facilities.

Scope included extensive cut-to-fill operations, haul-off of approximately 300,000 tons of on-site soil spoils, 450,000 cubic yards of moisture conditioning, and installation of 240,000 tons of flex base.

Key project elements included:

  • 800,000 SF of data center site preparation

  • 300,000 tons of soil haul-off

  • 450,000 CY of moisture conditioning

  • 240,000 tons of flex base installation

  • Variable section depths across three building pads

  • Fire lane corridors requiring up to 11 feet of moisture conditioning

The project required management of large material volumes, varying section depths, and overlapping work zones to maintain schedule alignment. Execution demonstrates Lindamood’s ability to deliver technically demanding earthwork programs for mission-critical infrastructure.
