Texas A&M Kyle Field

Project Overview

Lindamood delivered tailored, application-specific methods including top-down deconstruction and remote-controlled, explosive demolition for Texas A&M’s Kyle Field football stadium renovation, allowing more seating for the iconic stadium.

The scope of work included campus staples such as F. Rollie White Coliseum, the Read Annex and Read Building, Kyle Field ticket booths, restrooms & gift shops. The East and West end caps of the stadium and connection to the adjoining basketball arena were demoed using precise high reach applications.

Abatement and full disconnect operations were carried out to prepare for the controlled implosion, which Lindamood, worked closely with the University on to safeguard surrounding facilities and assets. As part of the scope of work, the team lowered the field by seven feet and performed all removal and haul off services across all scopes of work.

Through consistent teamwork and effective communication, Lindamood successfully completed the demolition within an accelerated timeframe in order to accommodate the Aggies’ upcoming football season.
