Globe Life Park

Project Overview

Lindamood’s selective demolition team undertook the intricate task of gutting the entire underground area, which included dismantling various facilities such as batting cages, a daycare center, and the owners’ suites. This phase required meticulous planning and execution to ensure the structural integrity of surrounding areas was preserved while removing these diverse elements. Following this, the Lindamood Heavy Hauling division mobilized specialized equipment, including their high-capacity excavator and track loader, to initiate the complex process of field-level wrecking.

To address the challenges posed, we engineered a soil-nailed wall and sophisticated temporary soil retention system designed to stabilize the surrounding earth and enable safe ongoing operations. This involved precise calculations and coordination to maintain safety standards.

The project’s final phase involved the removal of four massive escalators, each towering over 80 feet tall. This required leveraging advanced techniques and equipment to safely dismantle and remove the structures without compromising the surrounding environment or project timeline. Through each phase, the team demonstrated expertise in navigating complex challenges and delivering innovative solutions.
