Project Overview

Lindamood is a proud partner in the DART project for the Cotton Belt Silverline spanning 26 miles across Collin, Dallas, and Tarrant counties in Texas.

Lindamood has performed diligent earthwork upwards of 200,000 CY in excavation and 180,000 CY in embankment and installed 83,000 tons of track ballast to date. Lindamood is also installing 15,000 feet of shredded tire aggregate, a sustainable alternative to natural aggregate for vibration mitigation under the tracks. 

In addition to the earthwork Lindamood is also responsible for installing bridge beams on approximately 23 bridges with the longest bridge being US75 bridge spanning half a mile over the US75 highway in Richardson, TX.

53 miles of new track have been installed already, and vehicle testing for the bridges begin in May.
