Project Overview

Lindamood, in partnership with Controlled Demolition, Inc., executed the controlled implosion of the twelve-story ACS/Xerox office building located along Central Expressway in Dallas. The structure was positioned only yards from occupied residential apartments and active commercial properties within a densely developed urban corridor.

Following comprehensive interior abatement and structural preparation, the concrete and steel frame was strategically engineered for implosion using 553 pounds of explosives placed in 514 precisely designated locations.

Key project elements included:
