Project Overview
This project involved the careful deconstruction of three 4-story buildings located just 10 feet from a major artery road in uptown Dallas. Due to the tight urban setting and limited access to the buildings, high-reach excavators had to be employed to safely and efficiently dismantle the structures while ensuring minimal impact on the surrounding area. These buildings sat atop a 3-story underground parking garage, which was demolished as part of an integrated site preparation.
Following the removal of the garage, excavation took place to create a new basement for a future high-rise development. This dual-phase project aims to transform the site efficiently, ensuring that the demolition and excavation work pave the way for new construction without disrupting nearby traffic flow and infrastructure stability.
