Kayla Lindamood
President, CEO
Kayla Lindamood is the President, CEO, and Owner of Lindamood Inc., a nationally recognized demolition and earthwork company proudly certified as a Woman-Owned Business and WMBE. With over four decades of experience, Kayla has played a central role in shaping the company’s legacy—and its future.
Her journey began in 1980 when she joined the business alongside her late husband and company founder, Bobby Lindamood. Together, they built the company from the ground up, combining grit, vision, and a shared passion for excellence. In 2007, Kayla stepped into the role of President. Just two years later, after Bobby’s unexpected passing, she assumed full leadership and began charting a bold new course for Lindamood—this time with her son and co-owner, Jake Lindamood, at her side.
Kayla is more than a CEO in title. She is hands-on, deeply involved in every aspect of the business—from strategic planning and fiscal oversight to jobsite visits, bidding, and supervising office operations. Her leadership has fueled the company’s steady growth, including its most recent office expansion to support a team that now exceeds 350 employees.
Relentlessly focused on quality control, safety, customer satisfaction, and employee experience, Kayla is known throughout the industry for her integrity, determination, and get-it-done mindset. She’s proud of the company’s 50-year legacy—but even more excited about the future.
Outside the office, Kayla is a proud mother of three and grandmother of seven. A die-hard Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys fan, she’s happiest cheering on her grandkids at their games, spending time poolside, enjoying the beach, or finding a new restaurant to try. She’s also a passionate advocate for women in business, living by the motto: “Stay humble and kind; never forget where you came from.”
Through her leadership, Lindamood continues to prove that a demolition company can be built on strength, heart, and a whole lot of family pride.

My passion is Lindamood. Watching this company grow year after year keeps me motivated. It’s about continuing the legacy Bobby and I started, while creating space for the next generation to lead with pride.”
