Jake Lindamood
Vice President, COO
For Jake Lindamood, the demolition business isn’t just a job — it’s a lifelong calling rooted in family, grit, and growth. Raised in a family business environment, Jake spent his weekends and school breaks immersed in heavy equipment, demolition jobs, and long-haul trucking. From an early age, he wasn’t just watching — he was learning, doing, and preparing to lead.
Jake earned his CDL young, founded Lindamood Heavy Hauling in 2005 to support the company’s growing fleet, and steadily worked his way through every layer of the business. Today, with more than 20 years of experience in demolition, excavation, and heavy hauling, Jake serves as COO and Vice President of Lindamood, overseeing company-wide operations, including estimating, logistics, field supervision, and strategic growth.
But don’t expect to find him behind a desk all day. True to his father Bobby’s legacy, Jake leads from the field as much as from the office. You’ll often see him on job sites, operating equipment, mentoring crews, and even grabbing a shovel to give someone a break. That boots-on-the-ground leadership keeps him close to the work — and ensures safety and performance remain top priorities.
Jake is proud to lead the company alongside his mother, Kayla Lindamood, who brings the same tenacity and business sense that helped them grow Lindamood from 40 to over 350 employees. Their dynamic just works — each focused on their role, each bringing deep passion to the job, and both committed to honoring the legacy Bobby left behind.
Outside the office, Jake is a devoted family man who spends his downtime with his wife and four children. A lifelong outdoorsman, he enjoys wild game hunting, boating at the lake, ATV adventures in the mountains, and simply relaxing on the back patio watching his kids swim. He’s a fan of Texas Country and classic country music and looks forward to his annual getaway to Nashville with his wife. And yes — he still loves a good truck show when time allows.

Never be afraid to get your hands dirty. Don't think your better than your employees. And don't ask anyone to do something you wouldn't do yourself."
